Celebrating 35 Years of Boston Black College Culture!
On August 8, 1989, a group of concerned twenty-three 18-year-olds and 19-year-olds meet at the Roxbury Boys and Girls Club and Roxbury Community College. They decided as a group of Black College undergraduate students to promote HBCUs and intragenerational mentoring to Boston Black High school students. Little did they know - they started a movement - Boston Black College Alliance later named the National Black College Alliance.
